All dogs will have play time in the backyard, personal play time and love in our home, daily walks in the park and on occasion day trips out and about (Golden Ears, Pitt River Dykes etc.) The dogs stay in our home with us during the day. They have the opportunity to interact with our dogs, receive love from the family and sleep on the couch if they would like. At night and also if we are away from the home the dogs are kenneled. Small and senior dogs remain in our home at all times and are crated during the night and when we are away.
All dogs must come with a leash and collar. Please bring any special training tool that you use (halti, gentle leader, no pull etc.) as we will be happy to continue your training while you are away. You may bring a toy or special treats for your dog. We ask that you do not bring your dog’s special bed but you may bring a blanket for them. Please bring enough food for your dog during their stay with us. We supply food/water dishes, treats and have many toys to play with. Please make sure everything is marked with your dog’s name.
We are able to administer medication and will be happy to give extra love and attention to your special needs or senior pet.
When you are leaving your dog MUST be on leash. Please respect our neighbors and do not potty your dog on their lawns, please clean up after your dog!
Home Away From Home is our small in home boarding facility in Maple Ridge. We have 2 kennels in a bright, heated building in our yard. Both kennels have access to a full fenced area for the dogs.
